WHO ONLY EATS TUNA FISH AND OJ then states they love to cook but never tastes the food?

Someone with an eating disorder. I didn't see the post, but, I don't think I'd snark someone who could have serious issues with food.
Yeah, I couldn't tell if it was a troll or not. Something about her whole post read wrong to me.
She also had an offhand reference to how she "of course also cooks for her vegan pets"

And that it was her life ambition to be the stereotype of a perfect housewife.

I just reread the post on my phone but then it reloaded the page before I could grab a snap.

I really think it was trolling. Though...really, who trolls a cooking comm?

People troll everything.
vegan pets? I hope she doesn't have a cat! Do the pets know they are vegan?
I didn't see any responses to that part (I went to bed when there were only like two replies) so I have no idea who else picked up on that.
No she had a rabbit and iguana.
No, the whole post was off.
i don't think she had an eating disorder, the whole post screamed "troll" to me. from the perfect housewife, to the new journal, to calling her pet diet "vegan". it was just...weird.
And vegan pets!
Vegan pets?! No. D:
Rabbits and iguanas are naturally vegan?
My dog used to take the carrot in his mouth, walk a few steps away, and just spit it out.
It must be a common trait. My dog does that, too, when she's not fond of what's in her mouth. Sometimes she'll spit it out, though, and then end up eating it anyway.
I had a cat that loved to eat cantaloupe, but that wasn't his main diet. He pretty much ate anything, including meat.
I didn't get a screen cap of it but I do have most of the responses in my email since I was tracking the post.
then you should be able to quote it, right?
Yes, I can do that.

I'll get it all together in the right order and post them in a little bit.
you're awesome!

Original post

Hi all. I'm pretty new to LJ and new to this community - and finally, I'm pretty new to cooking.
My life's goal is to be the most stereotypical idea of a housewife ever, so I am learning to cook
I love cooking EVERYTHING, and cooking "the hard way" from scratch. After going through the
community for a bit, I can't wait to try and make your recipes (: I love making unique things.
I almost never don't eat anything I cook (I only eat canned tuna and orange juice.) but I do cook
for my friends and my family, and of course, my vegan pets. I usually post my food/recipes on my tumblr.
I can't seem to get over my obsession for needing to have some kind of veg as a side dish... anyone else have this problem?
And so this isn't just a comment post, here's some pictures of my previously made items,
also, I do have the recipes if you want! (:

My biscuit really wasn't worth making lol...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't divert from my tuna-only diet and had some of these peanutbutter cookies (:
And these are the comments I have in my email box. I missed some of the comments before mine because I didn't start tracking until after I posted.

Do you do anything with the tuna (sandwiches, salads, casseroles?) or just eat it basically out of the can?

Georgette (thespiraltap) replied to a comment you left in a LiveJournal post.

Subject: Re: I'm curious
No, I don't. Just plain straight out of the can. I open the can and I'm good with it just the way it is. I had a tuna sandwich once while I was in the hospital for a broken leg, but I didn't like it. I'll just stick with eating it out of the can.. much to everyone in my home's dismay. (:

Well, be fair- "I don't eat anything, but I cook everything; I can't cook but I love to cook from scratch and I post it online; I don't eat veg but I need a veg dish in every meal;... That could definitely be a prank!

Georgette (thespiraltap) replied:
sorry.

That's kind of redundant. Veganism is as much a philosophy as a dietary regiment, and aside from being forced by human beings to eat food they would not otherwise eat (in this case, say, a cat being fed only lettuce--which is what I was thinking), animals can't really be vegans or vegetarians or anything else that requires a conscious choice on their part to partake or not partake in the consumption of a particular item. I don't think you have vegan animals, just animals that are natural herbivores.

That aside, you cook for your rabbit and iguana?

Georgette (thespiraltap) reply was:
sorry, i was just making a joke.
im just going to delete the post i didn't mean to upset everybody,

You don't have to delete your post and I don't think anyone is really upset... just confused.
:/ now I'm not sure if she was trolling lol, the fact that she said she was sorry and deleted the post... troll regret? she seemed genuine which is scary.
I remember, at some point in the past, somewhere on LJ (natural living or poor skills, maybe), someone mentioned that they eat basically nothing but canned tuna every day. Either they were asking about mercury risks themselves, or someone brought it up later. Sadly that's all I can remember.

I wonder if this person was legit and it was the same person.
After seeing the recap of the original post, this does not look like an eating disorder, as was suggested. I mean, please. If this were a person truly concerned about the health of her own and her pets' eating habits, this post would have held urgency rather than lethargy.

As for vegan pets? I hope she is referring only to pets who are vegetarian by nature. With pets such as cats, who are natural carnivores, you can not force them to be vegans. Nature has dictated their diet and it is wrong for that to be changed due to human whim.

Huh?
